Be the first to see two artifacts that will be premiered at An Evening at the Museum!
One of the items - the Low Tablet - is a local treasure dating from 1,000 - 400 B.C. that will be on display for this event only. The second item - a Civil War ambrotype - has an interesting history that involves law enforcement, multiple museums, and a Good Samaritan. Each artifact will have a curator on hand for the evening to give details and answer questions.
The night will be complete with beverages, hors d'oeuvres graciously provided by local caterers, and live music to add to the ambiance of the evening.
This fundraiser presented by the Friends of the Museum will benefit the operations of the Campus Martius & Ohio River Museums. The unique partnership between state and community is thriving because of the support of area residents.
