Featured Speakers: Emily Lauderback, Industrial Hygienist, US Department of Labor-OSHAColumbus Area Office and Melissa Linton, Compliance Assistance Specialist, US Department of Labor-OSHA Columbus Area Office.
Emily Lauderback is a safety and health compliance officer for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration in Columbus, OH. She received a Bachelor’s of Science in Industrial Hygiene from Ohio University in 2008 and a Masters of Science in Industrial Hygiene from The University of Montana – Montana Tech in 2015. She also earned the Associate Safety Professional certification (ASP) in 2016. Emily has nine years of experience conducting safety and health inspections in various industries during her career with OSHA. She currently resides in Marysville, Ohio with her husband and two children.
Melissa Linton began working for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration in August 2001. She became the Compliance Assistance Specialist (CAS) for the Columbus Area office in October 2011. As the CAS, she performs outreach, training and works with companies as apart of OSHA’s Voluntary Protection Program. She previously worked as a Compliance Officer for ten years specializing in industrial hygiene in construction and general industry. She is a graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a Master in Business Administration from Ohio Dominican University. She received her certification as an Occupational Health and Safety Technologist in 2005.
