Topic for this month is "Building Trust" with featured speaker David Williams
Trust has long been a part of the foundation of society; yet, it is often used and abused in the business world. Even though trust is a key aspect to all relationships, it can be misunderstood or mismanaged in many companies, which leads to serious consequences over time. Trust is at the heart of organizations’ ability to succeed and the ability to have confidence in relationships of all types is critical.
Regardless of the relationship, if trust is not present, miscommunication, unmet expectations and reduced effectiveness all negatively contribute to an organization’s mission. We will be looking at five different relationships that occur within most organizations, and will examine clear strategies that should be incorporated to raise the level of trust.
The Professional Women's Roundtable (PoWeR) is an opportunity for area professionals and business women to meet and discuss issues and share ideas. This diverse group of business women gather to share their experiences and offer valuable insight from a woman's perspective. This monthly meeting is a chance to learn successful tips that are unique to women in an open, relaxed, non-competitive forum.
