Consumer Credit Counseling Service of the Mid-Ohio Valley Inc. (CCCS) has provided financial counseling, education, and advocacy to the Mid-Ohio Valley for over 50 years. We are dedicated to helping our community achieve financial independence, serving as the most trusted resource for financial literacy services.
Our geographic footprint of 11 counties in West Virginia and 12 counties in Ohio has a median household income that falls significantly below the national average by more than $15,000 annually. When these households look for ways to cover their financial needs, they often find themselves turning to short-term methods of financial support such as payday loans, overdraft protections, and emergency resources. We want to reach these consumers to introduce them to better tools and resources through our counseling and education services so that we can help them make the most of their income without relying on the short-term methods mentioned above.
