About Us

At Washington State Community College, we know that education transforms the future for our students, their families and our community. For 50 years WSCC has served as an academic leader in southeast Ohio. As a two-year institution, we offer more than 40 certificate and associate degree programs.

Renowned as a student-centered college, we are steadfastly focused on student success and employ a range of wrap-around services that support students both in and out of the classroom, including free tutoring, career guidance, mental health support, and more.

Our faculty and staff take pride in maintaining a dynamic learning environment. With small class sizes, we foster a culture of hard work, dedication, and encouragement to help our students reach their full potential. We offer day and evening classes that are delivered in-person and online, as well as a hybrid between the two called hi-flex.
