After spending nearly a decade working in EHS for multimillion-dollar companies\, David knows what truly drives safety and learning. Safety is more than compliance\; it is a personal investment into Fathers\, Mothers\, and children.\n\n\n\nDavid has three beautiful boys and an amazing wife that sets the standard of what it means to be a hard worker. He serves as a trustee at his church\, and coaching youth sports is his passion. He is grateful for an amazing community in the Mid-Ohio Valley to raise his family. \n\n\n\nDavid holds certifications in OSHA 30 Hour General Industry\, Confined Space Rescue\, Advanced Emergency Medical Technician\, Ohio Firefighter\, EPA Method 9 Emission Reading\, and is an Ohio Department of Education Educator.\n\n \n\nAbout the Mid-Ohio Valley Safety Council\n\nThe Mid-Ohio Valley Safety Council is a program of the Marietta Area Chamber of Commerce\, co-sponsored by The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation Division of Safety & Hygiene.\n\n \n\nPurpose\n\nIt takes concern and dedication to instill an awareness of worker safety.  The MOV Safety Council strives to provide increased safety awareness through the combined efforts of companies and the community at large.\n\n \n\nSafety Council Goals\n\n\n	To provide a forum for businesses and industries interested in occupational safety and health.\n	To examine and resolve potential and existing safety and health problems.\n	To Inform participants of new safety and health techniques\, products and services and to provide a thorough knowledge of these services.\n	To encourage safety programs through a Safety Campaign.\n\n\nMembership to Safety Council is open to representatives of business and industry in the Mid-Ohio Valley interested in developing increased safety awareness. The annual membership fee is $50 per company.\n\nLuncheons are held with presentations on a wide variety of safety subjects as requested by the membership.  Safety Council meets monthly\, usually on the third Wednesday of each month.
