"I took over as Medical Director for the emergency and urgent care services within the Memorial Health System in November 2018. I spent nearly 2 years as the Medical Director of Jackson General Hospital's emergency department prior to that.
Throughout Emergency Medicine Residency and my time as a Medical Director, I have grown passionate about changing healthcare for the better on the local, state and national levels.
 
As far as MemorialCareNow, it is our express care online services created so that anyone can receive our world class healthcare whenever and wherever they need – from a parked car, a home, or an office.
 
The app can be downloaded for free, and when someone needs a visit, the cost is $49.99. An expert from Memorial Health System will see all patients, and if needed, prescriptions can be sent to a pharmacy just as it would be during a normal visit.
 
Some of the urgent care needs that can be seen using the app include cold and flu, nose and throat, gastro needs (i.e. acid reflux, constipation), eye, skin issues (i.e. rash, poison ivy/oak), respiratory, and other ailments including arthritis, backache, headache/migraine, UTI, and yeast infections."

The Professional Women's Roundtable (PoWeR) is an opportunity for area professionals and business women to meet and discuss issues and share ideas.  This diverse group of business women gather to share their experiences and offer valuable insight from a woman's perspective.  This monthly meeting is a chance to learn successful tips that are unique to women in an open, relaxed, non-competitive forum.
